Many effective flea control preparations used on adult dogs are not suitable for puppies. Therefore it is worthwhile consulting your veterinarian regarding flea control in the young animal. Today there are new, innovative products which are eminently suitable for use on even very tiny puppies.
It must be emphasized that flea control in the puppy is equally as important as with the older dog and must be coupled with the control of fleas in the environment.
